About The Position

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in industrial and facility environments. This role involves routine cleaning duties as well as support for special projects such as deep cleaning, dust control, and floor maintenance. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in physically demanding conditions while following all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including verification, background check, drug test, medical evaluation, and fit test
• Physically able to lift, push, or pull over 50 lbs
• Able to perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Must wear and work in full personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, earplugs, and steel toe boots
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including verification, background check, drug test, medical evaluation, and fit test

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience in an industrial or commercial setting
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of restrooms, break areas, offices, and common spaces
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly
• Sweep, mop, and power wash floors in designated areas
• Dust surfaces including ledges, vents, equipment, and overhead structures
• Refill supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizers
• Clean windows, walls, doors, and other surfaces as needed
• Report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or supply shortages
• Assist with deep cleaning and special project work when required
• Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures
• Support additional cleaning tasks assigned by supervisors
