About The Position
Silgan Containers is hiring Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for our St. Joseph Missouri manufacturing plant. Earn $30.46 per hour plus $1.30 shift differential, overtime opportunities, and excellent benefits in a stable and growing industry. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical knowledge with two or more years of industrial maintenance or mechanic experience preferred
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Safety focused, problem solving mindset
- Willingness to perform and document quality checks on can lines
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair high speed manufacturing equipment and can lines
- Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify industrial mechanical systems
- Use precision tools to work with tolerances up to .0010
- Partner with management on safety, quality, and productivity improvements
