About The Position

A day in the life You start your shift reviewing overnight CMMS updates and safety dashboards. A quick gemba walk confirms 5S standards are holding, and you kick off a brief tailboard focused on Beyond Zero initiatives. By mid-morning, you’re aligning team priorities to site goals, removing roadblocks, and syncing with the customer on equipment status. In the afternoon, you’re mentoring a tech on career development, auditing work orders for schedule adherence, and approving necessary overtime while keeping an eye on labor and material costs. You wrap by reporting on maintenance KPIs, including root cause analysis outcomes, and reinforcing our Operating System so improvements stick. What you’ll lead Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure every policy and procedure is followed; elevate housekeeping through 5S and model wellness via Beyond Zero. Translate site and enterprise strategy into clear team actions; guide the adoption of new processes and procedures. Live the ATS culture—set priorities, coach to leadership behaviors, and foster a motivated, emotionally intelligent team. Grow people: set expectations, conduct performance conversations, and provide coaching on career paths, training, and skill-building through regular 1:1s. Embed our Operating System so it’s understood and practiced every day. Partner with the Site Manager to track and report maintenance KPIs, drive root cause investigations, and follow through on improvements. Maintain strong customer communication—escalate priorities and machine status appropriately to sustain a positive, profitable partnership. Assist with cost stewardship: manage labor, overtime approvals, and material usage. Audit work orders, uphold schedule discipline, and close gaps quickly. Lead and contribute to team meetings as a confident facilitator.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or completion of a two-year program, with 3+ years of related experience; or a comparable mix of education and hands-on experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office, web-based tools, and CMMS platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Business savvy—contracts, understanding the customer’s business, negotiation, billing models, financials, and relationship building
  • Planner/scheduler background
