About The Position
Bartlett is excited to be close to opening our Grain Elevator in Sheffield, IL. In the coming months, we will be hiring for various positions, including Maintenance Technician. Industrial Maintenance Technicians The duties of this hands-on job will include installing, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing grain handling equipment. This will include a variety of trades: mechanical, electrical and PLCs, welding and fabricating, hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, concrete, painting, etc. Industrial Maintenance Technicians will work extended hours and callbacks on short notice. For these jobs we are seeking hands-on individuals who can work longer hours in challenging conditions. Industrial maintenance experience in an elevator, mill, factory or refinery is preferred. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Available to work off hours and weekends
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- This job can be physically strenuous
- You will work in tight and confined spaces
- You will work at heights
- You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders
- You will be required to wear PPE
- All candidates shall be subject to background checks
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a grain elevator, feed mill or similar is preferred but NOT required
