About The Position

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime and efficiency through precise troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance. You will collaborate closely with machine operators and manufacturing supervisors to ensure smooth production line operations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with mechanical, electrical (24–480V), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Working knowledge of the following areas: nomenclature of all assigned equipment; industrial automation controllers, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, transmission systems, interface units, AC motors, wiring diagrams and schematics, computers and inspection and digital devices.
  • Performs general electrical work, i.e., conduit, wire sizing, pulling wire, and construction.
  • Must display competent ability to wire, assemble, and layout electrical/electronic systems in an extremely neat and professional manner and conform to CG Roxane wiring specifications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot maintenance, repairs, and fabrication skills.
  • Understanding of PLCs and automated systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Job-related experience for 3 years minimum.
  • 4 years’ experience in similar industrial maintenance environment.
  • Excellent attendance record and punctuality.
  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Food and beverage industry maintenance experience.
  • Krones, Sidel, or equivalent bottling machinery expertise.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills of high-speed automated systems.
  • Blow mold, Filler, Capper, Conveyors, Labeler Packer Palletizer and Wrapper knowledge.
  • Ability to use electronic test equipment.
  • Possesses an interest in and an aptitude for mechanics, electronics, and electrical.
  • Ability to operate and functionally use a computer.
  • Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.
  • Mechatronics Associates or similar a plus. High School Diploma or education equivalent required.
  • Electro-Mechanical Technology Degree (Preferred)
  • Rockwell PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical documentation.
  • Ability to apply standard evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard electrical/electronic techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Ability to develop a thorough understanding of the operating principles of all assigned equipment.
  • Perform repairs on equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other facility machinery as needed.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete repairs safely and efficiently.
  • Strive to optimize machinery settings to enhance line efficiency.
  • Ability to use electronic test equipment.
  • Possesses an interest in and an aptitude for mechanics, electronics, and electrical.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and uphold a professional, team-oriented attitude.
