The Industrial Mechanic Technician assembles machinery to enhance manufacturing operations and reliability. In this role, you’ll ensure the reliability and performance of automated and semi-automated machinery in a continuous production environment, while upholding Environmental Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality standards. This role collaborates with Production and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement machine improvements. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of the Maintenance Team located in Timonium, MD and will be an on-site role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read manuals, technical documents, blueprints, work instructions and troubleshooting guides.
• The ability to work and communicate in a collaborative team environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently and stand at machines for entire shift including reaching, bending, squatting and kneeling.

• Hazardous waste handling and electrical work.
• Injection molding and melt-blown processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair to ensure optimal machine performance. (Includes mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.)
• Set up, calibrate, and test components and mechanical assemblies using various tools.
• Execute maintenance work orders and accurately document activities in the CMMS system.
• Collaborate daily with Maintenance, Facilities, Operations teams, and contractors to safely achieve production goals.
