The role of the “Industrial Millwright I” position requires the mechanical skills to inspect, install, repair and adjust manufacturing equipment within the facility. It also requires basic knowledge of fluid power and pneumatic equipment. This includes hydraulic systems, plant utilities such as high volume water pumps and air compressors. Should have good communication and problem solving skills. The position is also responsible for lubricating and maintaining the BMP manufacturing and ancillary equipment. Working Conditions: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment; hot when weather is hot and cold when weather is cold. Greasy, dirty and noisy environment. Work involves lifting, pulling and/or pushing of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Standing and walking considerable distances. Operation requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
