Join the Holman Team! Holman is seeking a 1st Shift Industrial Paint Supervisor to lead paint department operations in Bartlett, IL. Position Summary The Industrial Paint Supervisor is responsible for leading all paint department operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role partners closely with management and product specialists to align production schedules, material availability, staffing, and quality standards while maintaining full regulatory compliance. The supervisor directly impacts manufacturing performance, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability. Principal Purpose of Position Partner with management and product specialists to establish and maintain inventory min/max levels. Ensure timely release of materials to jobs based on availability and production capacity. Monitor production schedules and ship dates; proactively communicate delays or material shortages that impact timelines. Adjust staffing hours as needed in coordination with department leads to meet demand. Support daily workflow to maintain continuous production flow. Provide clear direction on daily priorities and mentor team members in skill development. Review purchase order pricing for accuracy and notify management of discrepancies. Provide updates regarding facility efficiency and upcoming workload. Track work-in-process delays and communicate status updates. Generate reports identifying inaccuracies in production data entry and attendance versus labor hours for management review. Review all jobs prior to shipment. Ensure products meet print specifications and company standards for quality, fit, and finish. Confirm 100% parts completion prior to shipment. Communicate directly with customers regarding shortages and update purchase orders as required. Safely handle paint materials and hazardous waste in compliance with RCRA requirements. Oversee hazardous waste management processes. Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
