Requirements
- Have experience with industrial coatings
- Understand multi-coat application systems
- Work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Prioritize safety, accuracy, and consistent quality
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial painting duties including washing, surface prep, basic rigging, painting, and general maintenance
- Paint steel, aluminum, equipment, and piping systems
- Use viscosity cups, thickness gauges, and gloss gauges to ensure coating accuracy
- Mix paints and coatings according to technical data sheets
- Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products
- Follow all OSHA, Hazmat, and shop safety procedures
