About The Position

Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our Paint team in Clarion, IA. As a member of the paint team, you will complete all stages of paint as well as maintain equipment and move parts as required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least one of the following:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
• At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 35 lbs), and performing of repetitive actions.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).

Nice To Haves

• One or more year(s) experience in manufacturing
• One or more year(s) experience painting in a manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

• Prep parts include wash, dry, mask and caulk steps
• Paint parts using pressure fed, electrostatic guns to applicable paint standards. Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections including adjusting equipment, performing minor troubleshooting or maintenance of equipment.
• Complete daily and weekly housekeeping and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
• Use a PC or tablet to manage daily schedule, access work instructions, digital tools and report issues
• Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance.
• Comply with policies, guidelines and requirements per the Quality System.
• Comply with policies, guidelines and requirements per the Safety System.
