Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and hardworking Powder Coating Helper to join our production team. This entry-level position supports the powder coating process by assisting with part preparation, masking, hanging, quality checks, and general shop duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Basic knowledge of hand tools preferred
- Commitment to workplace safety
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal parts for powder coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, and racking)
- Hang and remove parts from the coating line
- Assist powder coaters with setup and color changes
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Support shipping/receiving and other shop tasks as needed
