Position Summary The role of the Infant Nutrition Lab Tech reports to the Clinical Nutrition Manager. This position is responsible for preparation and delivery of all infant feedings and ensuring preparation techniques and regulations established by local, state, federal, and Washington Regional are maintained.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a patient care or lactation based setting, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients
- Review physician orders to prepare prescribed feedings
- Communicate with interdisciplinary team regarding feeding, formula, or administration issues
- Ensure safe, effective, and sanitary use of equipment
- Maintain log of feedings, temperature records, and equipment issues
- Assist with maintaining stock and notify supervisor of inventory discrepancies
