We are so much more than a childcare center. Interested? Please continue reading! Position Details Long Beach Day Nursery (LBDN) is growing our early childhood teaching team. We have full-time Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher positions available at both of our branches!  Please see our website for exact locations.  If you are passionate about working with children, look no further! Our teachers have the important responsibility of instructing children in developmentally appropriate activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for child development. You will have the opportunity to supervise and assist children with general routines, such as art, literacy, science, mealtime, and potty-training activities. You will also support lesson planning, maintain an organized environment, and ensure proper care of educational equipment and materials.

Requirements

  • Some ECE units or former experience working with children is required
  • Maintain a collaborative, team-player attitude while working with a successful team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent patience and enjoy creating a fun environment
  • Willingness to learn
  • Capable of remaining punctual with great time-management skills
  • Nurturing, friendly, positive attitude and professional

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree (or higher) in ECE, preferred
  • Experience with infants and toddlers a plus

Responsibilities
