About The Position

The Infection Prevention/Employee Health Nurse primary responsibilities include Infection Prevention Surveillance, data collection, data entry, and report development for Employee Health and Infection Prevention quality improvement. The Position: .9 FTE. Works Monday through Friday. Has Weekends/Holidays off. Hours: Durring the day. Pay: Salaried, increase with experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, RN required.
  • Licensed in the state of Iowa.
  • Completion of Infection Control Practitioner course within 2 years if not completed
  • Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Experience in Infection Control preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communications.
  • Basic computer skills with word processing and spreadsheet, preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours.
  • Reference Checks-Pre-Offer
  • Post offer drug screen is required.
  • Background Check-Post Offer Acceptance
  • Pre-Employment Screening Post offer acceptance
  • Verification of required vaccinations at offer acceptance. MMR, Tetanus and Varicella.
