The Infection Preventionist (IP) is responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and being accountable for the Infection Prevention and Control Program at the Community. This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while promoting resident safety, staff education, and positive quality outcomes. The Infection Preventionist must be a professionally trained Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive knowledge of medical technology, microbiology, and epidemiology.
