Info-System Project Manager (Vienna, VA) – Lead the development and implementation of project management templates to establish PMO for the USPTO, streamlining processes and enhance project efficiency using Visio; Collaborate with product owners to define and prioritize product backlogs, and ensure on-time project delivery, using Agile, Product Backlog Management (Rally/Jira); Maintain high sprint completion rate in alignment with clients' business goal; Implement data-driven reporting using Power BI to track key PMO KPIs, including ROI, budget variance; Gather and analyze clients' feedback for product improvements and stronger relationships with product owners; Coordinate the migration of a legacy trademark filing system to a cloud-based platform using SQL, AngularJS, JavaScript, Typescript, SASS, Advanced Excel. Must have a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems plus skills and knowledge in Project Management, Agile, Product Backlog Management, SQL, KPIs, Power BI, and Advanced Excel. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems
  • Skills and knowledge in Project Management, Agile, Product Backlog Management, SQL, KPIs, Power BI, and Advanced Excel

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of project management templates to establish PMO for the USPTO
  • Streamline processes and enhance project efficiency using Visio
  • Collaborate with product owners to define and prioritize product backlogs
  • Ensure on-time project delivery, using Agile, Product Backlog Management (Rally/Jira)
  • Maintain high sprint completion rate in alignment with clients' business goal
  • Implement data-driven reporting using Power BI to track key PMO KPIs, including ROI, budget variance

  • Extract and transform project data from internal DBMS for dashboard reporting
  • Analyze current versus future state processes and documenting workflows using Visio
