About the position

The Information Program Manager is responsible for overseeing information management aspects across a portfolio of large-scale engineering and construction projects deploying the GE Vernova Hitachi BWRX-300 small modular reactor. The program manager in this role establishes standards, identifies shared practices, and ensures compliance across multiple simultaneous projects. They will be a resource for the customer, product team, and project information managers during initial project negotiations, setup, and execution. Relocation to Wilmington, NC is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standards and systems for managing project information, including documentation, data, and communication, in accordance with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Provide strategic direction and ownership of the information management program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that information flows smoothly and is accessible to all relevant parties.
  • Oversee the integration of information technology systems from engineering and project management into the construction phase of the project, including software for project management, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and other digital tools.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that all project information management practices comply with ISO 19650 standards and nuclear industry regulations. Maintain organizations ISO 19650 certification.
  • Provide training to project staff on information management systems, best practices, and ISO 19650 requirements.
  • Generate regular reports on project information status, including progress, issues, and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of technical experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project management, particularly in the construction and nuclear industries, with a focus on information management, ISO 19650 compliance, and program direction.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software, BIM, and other relevant IT systems.
  • Knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and standards, such as NRC, DOE, and ASME codes.
