Requirements
- 5+ years of overall IT experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on security experience
- Knowledge of security methodologies, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall solutions, and network/security applications
- Understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems
- Basic proficiency in digital forensics and malware analysis (e.g., file signatures, memory analysis, binary review)
- Familiarity with Internet protocols and common applications
- General understanding of industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, HITRUST)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field OR relevant experience plus industry certifications
- One or more relevant certifications (CEH, PenTest+, Security+, Network+, SSCP, GSEC, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Responsibilities
- Support one or more core security programs, including Vulnerability Management (VM), Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR), and security tool administration.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events, logs, and alerts using SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other tools.
- Assist with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of security technologies and new tool features.
- Document findings, procedures, and SOPs; communicate results through tickets, reports, or presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and technical stakeholders to support compliance, reviews, and security operations.
