About The Position

Parsons is looking for a talented Level 4 ISSE to join our growing team! What You’ll Be Doing: Joining an exciting team providing Information System Security Engineer solutions to a challenging and dynamic IC customer in the Chantilly area. Responsible for conducting IS security engineering activities throughout the system development/acquisition lifecycles. Responsible for capturing and refining information protection requirements to ensure their integration into IS acquisitions and IS development through purposeful security design or configuration. Integrates security functional requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and deliverables using systems engineering principles and methodologies. Coordinate activities with A & A stake-holders and shall be knowledgeable of Analytics/Metrics tools to identify trends and patterns across the Enterprise. Lead a team of two Engineers and three Information System Security Officers.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree + 15 years of IAE experience OR Master's Degree + 12 years of IAE experience. There's flexibility on this requirement, pending Customer approval.
  • Active IAT Level III Certification
  • An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of and experience with ICD 503 and the Government’s certification and accreditation process
  • Networks, computer components, system protocols, and COTS technology
  • System methodologies including: client/server, web hosting, web content servers, policy servers, directory servers, firewalls, WAN, MAN, LAN, switches, and routers
  • Software integration of COTS and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) products
  • VMware, Xen, Hyper V and other virtualization platforms Configuring and supporting, at a minimum, Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac OS
  • Configuring and supporting, at a minimum, VMware, Xen, Hyper V
  • Software engineering Program design and implementation Configuration management System maintenance Integration testing Information system engineering.
