About The Position

Information Systems and Simulations Trainer, Mid The Opportunity: Be empowered to tap into your creative thinking and technology skills to help develop, manage, and deliver training using the Instructional Systems Design and Principles of Instruction processes to create learning objectives, ensuring a variety of learning styles for learners' needs. As a trainer on our Mission Training Complex (MTC) team, you'll prepare and deliver mission command and simulations training based on event training plans. You'll train military users and develop training methods and materials, including curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on work with the client and user specifications. You will also analyze and document flaws in system configuration and implement corrections, participate in special projects and perform additional duties to support client requirements, and move, transport, and set-up class and training material in different locations, as required. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with adult training
  • Experience using the official system program and product manager's training products, or using the commercial software and hardware developer's technical and training material
  • Ability to deliver operator-level training in accordance with established training plans
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and up to 12 hours a day outside of normal work hours
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with U.S. military training or supporting military operations
  • Experience with the Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Force Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P), or Tactical Mission Command (TMC) servers
  • Experience with Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) simulations
  • Experience creating training plans and materials
  • Knowledge of battalion and above staff operations
  • Completion of a Foundational Instructor or Facilitator Course such as Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Trainer, Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), or similar Sister Service Instructor Certification Course
