About The Position

Sample Supports is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Information Technology Assistant to support our internal technology needs. This role helps ensure staff have the equipment they need to do their work by preparing, maintaining, and tracking company computers and devices.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technology tasks, organization, and working behind the scenes to help a team operate smoothly. The IT Assistant plays an important role in maintaining our technology inventory and ensuring computers are properly configured and ready for use.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to perform the physical tasks associated with setting up and handling computer equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working with technology systems

Responsibilities

• Set up computers and devices for new employees
• Reset and wipe returned computers from previous users
• Configure computers according to company policies and system requirements
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company passwords, systems, and account information
• Evaluate returned computers to determine whether they are operational or require repair by a contractor
• Maintain accurate inventory of incoming and outgoing technology devices
• Follow all Sample Supports policies, procedures, and operational protocols
• Support the technology needs of the organization as directed
• Complete additional tasks as assigned as company needs evolve
