Public Service Credit Union (PSCU) is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide front-line technical support and help keep our credit union’s systems running smoothly. This role supports hardware, software, network troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user support, all while maintaining compliance with security and regulatory standards. Why join us? Requirements

  • 1+ years of IT experience.
  • Associate’s degree in IT/Computer Science or relevant certifications (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency with Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems.
  • Strong communication skills and professional integrity.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to represent and uphold organizational culture.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact for IT support requests.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Set up and maintain workstations, printers, and other equipment.
  • Manage and document tickets in the helpdesk system.
  • Assist with network monitoring, updates, patches, and security measures.
  • Maintain user accounts, permissions, onboarding/offboarding setups.
  • Support data backups, recovery processes, and basic database maintenance.
  • Respond to security incidents under senior IT guidance.
  • Document procedures and create basic user guides.
  • Participate in system upgrades and technology rollouts.
  • Collaborate with departments on IT needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
