About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Data center). In this role, you will: Support initiatives that deliver workable end to end infrastructure solutions Participate in test planning and execution Communicate with end users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates Design, build, enhance and integrate the infrastructure required to support various platforms and our business portfolio Troubleshoot and resolve tickets during implementation of store networks Troubleshoot and resolve first level network and wireless issues Present recommendations for resolving ticket requests, and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of the process, policies and risk controls Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 1+ years of data center experience

  • Experience supporting technology at an enterprise-level
  • Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with server, storage, mainframe, and network hardware
  • Proficiency with Layer 1 Infrastructure deployments
  • Extensive knowledge of data center operations (space, power, cooling and network)
  • Precise attention to detail and strong organization skills
  • Focus on strong risk management in critical environments

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Asset management that includes inventory management, ordering, shipping and receiving
  • Receive and unpack hardware, servers and other equipment
  • Hardware Rack and Stack
  • Power and Network Cable/s provisioning and installation
  • Complete diagnostic and quality assurance inspections
  • Perform Audits and Data Corrections to ensure all inventory controls are met
  • Reconcile and report inventory discrepancies
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
  • Work hours operate in a 3x12 (week 1) and 4x12 (week 2) rotating shift- 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
