About The Position

Role Overview • The Infrastructure Project Manager will lead end to end delivery of medium to high complexity infrastructure projects supporting the Enterprise Data Platforms. • This includes standing up new infrastructure, decommissioning legacy environments, and managing projects across midrange systems, Hadoop platforms, and related enterprise data technologies. • The role requires a highly organized project leader with strong WBS development skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven ability to manage cross functional technical teams in a fast paced environment. • The ideal candidate is a hands on project manager with deep infrastructure build experience, strong Agile/Jira proficiency, and the ability to influence and hold teams accountable across multiple parallel initiatives.

Requirements

10+ years of Technical Project Management experience delivering infrastructure projects.
Strong experience with infrastructure build, migration, and decommissioning.
Hands on experience with midrange systems and enterprise data platforms.
Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystems and related data infrastructure.
Proven ability to lead and manage multiple (5–6) concurrent medium to high complexity projects.
Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Jira.
Expertise in creating detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
Skilled in executive level communication and presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Excel.
Understanding of: o Physical and virtual server hosting o Enterprise data platforms o Storage and backup systems o Network and firewall/DMZ architecture o Database and middleware technologies o Network traffic management

Experience supporting high availability, enterprise wide applications.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact and leader for all assigned infrastructure projects.
Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to go live, including scope, schedule, resource alignment, and delivery.
Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project plans, ensuring all tasks, dependencies, and timelines are clearly defined.
Lead infrastructure stand ups, migrations, and decommissioning efforts across midrange and enterprise data platforms.
Drive milestone achievement by coordinating execution across technical teams and holding resources accountable to deadlines.
Ensure all change management processes are followed, including necessary documentation, approvals, and compliance steps.
Engage technical SMEs across hosting, storage, network, database, middleware, Hadoop, and enterprise data systems to define scope and deliverables.
Manage project impacts across physical servers, virtual machines, enterprise data platforms, network traffic management, firewalls/DMZ, and related infrastructure components.
Ensure quality assurance by validating that all technical tasks and configurations meet defined requirements.
Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate appropriately to Portfolio Delivery and Service Delivery Managers.
Develop remediation plans using strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Maintain accurate and timely updates in Jira, including accomplishments, next steps, dependencies, and blockers.
Prepare and deliver executive level presentations and status updates.
Establish strong relationships with business partners, technical teams, and leadership.
Support go live activities, including coordination of cutover steps, checkpoint calls, and post deployment validation (may require occasional nights/weekends).
