About The Position

Amentum has an opportunity for an Infrastructure & Security Project Manager, to lead a complex portfolio of modernization and security initiatives critical to the FCC/C10th FLT operational requirements in Hawaii. You will be the central point of contact for communicating all project requirements, strategic plans, and resource needs to headquarters, ensuring our operational environment remains secure, resilient, and mission-ready. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all phases of facility renovations and/or modifications from initial planning, engineering, design, through construction. These projects typically contain stringent security or technical requirements. Serve as the primary liaison to headquarters, communicating all project requirements, strategic plans and resource needs for a complex portfolio of initiatives. Direct the full lifecycle of a large-scale modernization project spanning across 20 buildings and 5 sites, ensuring all project outcomes align with strategic mission needs of FLTCYBER. Assess operational requirements and security vulnerabilities to develop and execute a comprehensive project of modernization and renovation projects that enhance the organization’s physical security posture. Identify and mitigate risks to the project and organizational security, coordinating solutions among numerous stakeholders and internal teams. Skillfully interface with senior military and civilian officials (including Flag/SES level) to devise, recommend, and gain approval for optimized courses of action. Conduct on-site surveys to ensure the efficient use of assigned space while guaranteeing strict compliance with all physical security protocols and installation requirements. Conduct and document regular inspections to confirm unwavering compliance with defined project objectives and all physical security standards. Prepare and present compelling oral and written briefs to leadership on project status, physical security readiness, and challenges with potential impacts on operations. Lead and guide cross-functional teams to deliver secure spaces configured for mission success, acting as the subject matter expert on project requirements and security protocols. This position may require up to 10% travel.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and current CI Polygraph.
  • Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in project management, with at least three (3) years managing projects for a U.S. Government or Department of War entity.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or at least 4+ years of leading comparable initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects, including planning, resource management, and risk management.
  • Working knowledge of physical security principles and concepts (e.g., access control, intrusion detection, and secure area construction).
  • Proven ability to prepare and present clear and concise written and oral reports to leadership.
  • Experience coordinating with diverse teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on military construction (MILCON), infrastructure modernization, or physical security projects for the Department of the Navy.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or Security Management.
