About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient medical team in Ahwatukee, AZ. The Infusion RN is responsible for providing safe, patient-centered care to individuals receiving IV infusion therapies. This position involves administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring adherence to all safety and clinical standards.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required).
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona (required).
Current BLS certification (required).
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (required).
Prior experience in an infusion center or IV therapy setting (required).
Proficiency in IV insertion and venipuncture.
Strong understanding of infusion pumps, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient interaction skills.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate documentation.

Nice To Haves

ACLS certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Administer IV infusions, injections, and prescribed treatments in accordance with provider orders and protocols.
Monitor patients during infusions, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions or complications.
Record vital signs, symptoms, and infusion details promptly and accurately in the EMR.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant infusion area, including inventory and medication preparation.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medication effects, and post-care instructions.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care delivery.
Adhere to infection control policies, safety procedures, and state/federal regulations.
Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support efficient patient flow and contribute to a calm, supportive environment for all patients.
