Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Scientific Molding or related course work.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and scientific molding experience preferred
- Knowledge of process troubleshooting using scientific molding methods.
- Knowledge of injection molding machinery, control systems (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic).
- Knowledge of material handling/auxiliary equipment, dryers, conveyors, Etc.
- Knowledge of auxiliary equipment (mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots).
Nice To Haves
- LSR/Medical Molding Experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform all start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting of the molding process during normal production run.
- Coordinate and/or setup all secondary and auxiliary equipment as needed for each job
- Ensure that the production activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures
- Promote safety, quality and environmental awareness at all times
- Communicate with management, quality assurance and shop floor daily to discuss all modeling related issues
