About The Position

The Injection Molding Operator provides day-to-day support to the Molding Department to ensure the timely execution of production jobs. This role promotes KAITEKI values by fostering a positive, safe, and collaborative work environment that supports a stable, growing, and continuously improving workforce. The Operator is responsible for maintaining efficient production processes, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a clean and orderly production area.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor plastic injection molding machines.
Perform and support mold changes and basic mold maintenance as directed.
Maintain working knowledge of injection molding machinery and related auxiliary equipment (dryers, oil heaters, water heaters, etc.).
Monitor daily production to ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets.
Identify and report molding or process issues to the Production Supervisor promptly.
Support efforts to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with company safety standards.
Complete required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with team members to support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to improve process performance.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
