About The Position

Effectively run plastic injection molding machines within safety and quality standards Follow all safety guidelines and identify safety problems and support solutions Pull and set molds from presses (IMM, IBM) and EOAT for robotics along with minor set up of robots Support set up of auxiliary equipment and material supply to presses as needed Ensure molds are running within set parameters – Daily process verification Respond to machine alarms and take appropriate action to resolve issues Ensure production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations Identify quality defects and take corrective actions. Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing area.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Injection molding or Injection blow molding processing in an industrial environment
  • Experience or knowledge of scientific molding
  • Handling knowledge of IMM or IBM machines
  • Experience with various mold concepts (Injection, injection blow, cold and hot runner systems, multi plate molds, cores, slide, etc.)
  • Robotic experience a plus
  • Able to work a 12-hour night shift / Continental shifts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
