About The Position

Fairfax Behavioral Health is hiring a passionate Full-Time Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatrist for our Kirkland campus!
Fairfax Behavioral Health has been a cornerstone of mental health care in the Greater Seattle/Puget Sound areas since 1930. Our mission is to provide top-quality patient care through comprehensive mental health and co-occurring addiction treatment services for adolescents and adults.
Kirkland Campus: 157-bed standalone psychiatric hospital offering a full continuum of care.
Everett Campus: 30-bed adult psychiatric facility in Everett at Providence Medical Center’s Pacific Campus.
Monroe Campus: 34-bed facility located at Evergreen Health in Monroe.
Bellevue Outpatient
Fairfax Behavioral Health offers a complete continuum of acute inpatient, PHP, IOP, Patriot Support Program for Active Duty, Veterans, and First Responders, and Women’s-focused programs.

Manageable and Sustainable Caseload: Inpatient Adolescent; Average 16 encounters per day.
Flexible Schedule: Generally, Monday-Friday, day shifts, with the ability to be offsite after daily patient care duties are finished.
Primary Duties: Initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges.
Work-Life Balance: 1:4 weekend rounding in person & once per week evening call by phone only.
Leadership and Growth Opportunities: Unit Directorship/Leadership appointment available if interested.

Requirements

• MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
• BC/BE in General Psychiatry (required).
• BE/BC General Psychiatry (required)
• Current Washington physician/medical license in good standing, or the ability to obtain required license.
• Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.

Nice To Haves

• BE/BC Child Adolescent Psychiatry (strongly preferred).
