FTE: 0% WORK SHIFT Variable PAY RANGE: $26.36 - $39.04 UNION: UFCW 3000-Professional and Technical SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS: Weekend & Holiday Shifts: No On-Call Shifts: No Shift Differentials: Evening $3.00/hour Night $5.00/hour Premiums: Weekend Premium $4.50/hour Standby Premium $4.00/hour Per Diem Premium 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits) Certification Premium $2.00/hour JOB DESCRIPTION: Receives and fills prescription requests from physicians and other qualified prescribers. Prepares/ compounds medications, IVs and other pharmaceutical supplies based on OMC protocols/procedures. Performs computer order entry/billing. Delivers supplies. Prepackages medications. Maintains records. Assists with training new staff. Performs drug stock control and other various other related duties. EDUCATION Graduate of a Washington State Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician training program. EXPERIENCE Experience with hospital drug distribution systems, hospital computer systems, IV compounding systems and other hospital related systems preferred. LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in Washington State required. National certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred. Requirements
