About The Position

SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments and leadership of the Internal Sales Support team to ensure exceptional service delivery, sales performance, and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and revenue growth in conjunction with Account Executive and Inside Sales Manager guidance. Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet sales targets and KPIs. Maintain regular communication with clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings to build long-term relationships. Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, Sales Support, Planning and Operations teams to support account needs. Analyze account performance, generate reports, and present insights to internal stakeholders. Clearly communicate revisions and initial designs with Planning Department. Prepare proposals, presentations, and gather marketing materials for Account Executives. Handle escalated customer issues professionally and effectively. Keep CRM and internal systems up to date with account activity and sales progress. Participate in forecasting and pipeline management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, but not required
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales and customer service.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk.
