About The Position

Biamp Systems is looking for a Consultant Liaison Associate who is experienced in making sales calls on technology design consultants and specifiers. This individual will report to the Senior Manager of Inside Sales and work in partnership with the Director of Consultant Relations and Regional Consultant Liaisons.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with audio DSP, especially system design using software
  • 2+ years of experience working with video distribution products
  • 2+ years of experience working with control system products
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of audio video terminology and sound masking solutions
  • Computer networking experience (preferably including audio networking)
  • Ability to deliver both technical and sales presentations to any level of attendee, from company presidents down, through the use of conferencing
  • Strong self-motivation and time management skills
  • Good computer skills, including working knowledge of the MS Office suite (including PowerPoint) and CRM tools
  • Strong technical audio and video knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Manage all elements of the business relationship between Biamp and the assigned specifier accounts
  • Create account plans for assigned consultant liaison accounts
  • Influence the technology evaluation stage of the design program of the consultancy to optimize opportunities for Biamp solutions
  • Strive to have Biamp solutions and commissioning services specified into every technology consultant project
  • Document in CRM all projects possible that Biamp products were and were not specified
  • Develop relationships with key consultant decision-makers and influencers.
  • Maintain direct contact via phone calls, TEAMS calls, and/or e-mails on a weekly basis and documented in CRM using the meeting planning template
  • Explain and demonstrate the technological aspects of all Biamp solutions being marketed
  • In coordination with the Regional Consultant Liaison, facilitate in-the-field training on all aspects of Biamp’s equipment, functions and uses
  • Leverage the Biamp Field Sales Engineers when greater technical expertise is required
  • Provide weekly feedback from the consultant community, both technical and commercial, to the Biamp management team via the SQORE reporting process
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for the targeted consultancies within the given geography
  • Other duties as assigned by your Supervisor
