About The Position

To efficiently and effectively exceed sales volume and profit objectives in telephone sales coverage of Roll Label products through executing the sales plan as directed from the Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications with 2+ years of business to business sales preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in customer service, account management, inside/outside sales or product support also preferred but not required.
  • Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently while functioning within a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills to facilitate conversations with people of various backgrounds. This includes a strong ability to influence others while maintaining a positive interaction.
  • Experience utilizing software programs like CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or ACT.
  • Strong administrative/organization skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Pressure Sensitive industry terminology and manufacturing procedures preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Defines account specific sales strategies and call objectives with the Sales Manager.
  • Utilizes Professional Selling Skills focused on delivering strategic gains in sales relationships.
  • Completes an assigned number of proactive calls in prospecting new accounts.
  • Works with Marketing, Supply Chain and Customer Service for pricing and availability needs.
  • Achieves sales volume expectations for their respective territories by working with existing customers and pro-actively searching out new business opportunities at current customers and prospective customers.
  • Documents and updates all information in the CRM database to keep strategy of account updated.
  • Establishes and develops rapport and professional customer/OEM relationships while also identifying and establishing relationships with key decision maker(s).
  • Troubleshoot product problems and quality issues. Utilize Technical Service as needed.
  • Represents Mactac in a professional manner as a preferred supplier of pressure-sensitive materials and promote products for intended end uses primarily via the telephone.
  • Identifies and monitors customers' purchase potential and business direction. Prepares an annual sales plan for territory.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of how assigned Mactac products are used and displays the ability to troubleshoot minor customer problems independently.
  • Participates in trade shows and sales meetings.
  • Prepares assigned reports accurately and on time.
  • Works with the Management Team to develop profitable effective corporate contracts.
  • Communicates product and pricing changes to assigned accounts in a timely manner.
  • Organizes, coordinates, and conducts customer sales presentations via TEAMS.
  • Communicates competitive developments in their account base regarding marketing strategies, pricing structures or product performance and communicates intelligence to management.
  • Assists management in the preparation of sales forecasts. Reports account changes in a timely manner as part of the Business Plan.
