About The Position

MSHS Pacific Power Group is seeking a detail-driven, analytical Inside Sales Representative who takes ownership of their work, values precision, and is motivated by developing deep technical and product expertise. This role is structured, process-oriented, and requires an individual who is comfortable working through detailed information, analyzing data independently, and executing tasks with a high degree of accuracy. You will support transactional customers, manage sales activities through CRM systems, and work closely with internal technical and sales teams to deliver accurate, timely solutions. This position is designed as a development path into Outside Sales, with a strong emphasis on mastering products, processes, and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and direct communication style
  • High level of organization, time management, and task prioritization
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a structured team environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of generators, diesel and gaseous engines, controls, and power systems
  • Engineering degree
  • Experience in the engine and power systems industry

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate, well-structured quotes and follow through with disciplined, consistent follow-up
  • Maintain a prioritized pipeline of opportunities, ensuring no gaps in execution
  • Manage and document all customer interactions, opportunities, and transactions within CRM with precision and completeness
  • Analyze inbound leads and bid opportunities, determining the most effective course of action
  • Independently evaluate data, customer requirements, and technical information to support decision-making
  • Coordinate with estimating, technical sales engineers, and outside sales to develop complete solutions
  • Conduct targeted outbound calls with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
  • Provide customers with clear, factual, and technically accurate information, including product data and supporting documentation
  • Support growth of existing accounts through consistent, methodical follow-up and relationship management
  • Adhere strictly to established sales processes, procedures, and company standards
