About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative – Insource is responsible for consistently achieving 100% of Sales and Gross Profit goals. This will be accomplished by calling a minimum of 80% of the assigned territory during each call cycle and utilizing a consultative sales approach. This position will negotiate competitive pricing within established limits or contracts, re-engage with inactive accounts, and ensure customers are satisfied by addressing their post-sale questions and concerns. This role will be focused on driving sales growth through promotional campaigns and fostering strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Contacts a minimum of 80% of customers within an assigned territory each month to meet sales and gross profit goals through consultative selling
  • Utilizes provided tools to target growth within the Independent Medical Distributor and Independent Retail Pharmacy market segments
  • Stays informed on promotional programs, competitive products, and merchandising-marketing practices through the intranet and regular vendor training sessions
  • Partners with internal departments (Credit, Customer Service, and Verification) to assist customers with order status, product returns, pricing discrepancies and inquiries on account balance
  • Places orders over the phone and resolves any after-sales inquiries, including product-related technical questions
  • Partners with Inventory Management, NSI Group, Technical Support, and others to help customers order products not typically stocked by the company
  • Collaborate with Field Sales Consultants and other internal teams to uncover customer needs and improve satisfaction while driving sales and gross profit
  • Assists in collecting past due balances by offering alternative payment methods
  • Participates in sales meetings, training programs, and industry conventions
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
