About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing sales support to CITCO accounts both through a CITCO Distribution Sales Account Manager and through direct communication with the account contacts. Responsibilities include order entry, quotations, and product application knowledge. Associate will be required to take inbound sales calls, make outbound sales calls, and conduct all communications in a polite and competent manner. Enters orders into ERP system with proper order statuses by using basic knowledge of CITCO core products and ERP system shipment status definitions. Collects and enters proper PO, Ship to Address, customer contact name and phone number, and any special delivery instructions. Communicates sales leads to outside sales staff, as well as commits any leads to CITCO CRM software Researches and updates customer contact information, sales history, customer product pricing, vendor product pricing, and shares market pricing knowledge with coworkers. Uses general knowledge of CITCO core products to service our customers. Knowledge bases includes: General treatment chemicals, including container size options and overall function or purpose of treatment chemical. General pipe, valves, and fittings knowledge, e.g. Pipe types and O.D., Waterworks Brass, pipe fittings, fire hydrants, basic valves. General service offerings and ability to interpret and quote from standardized price lists, e.g. Wet Taps, Valve Inserts, Line Stops, Meter Testing, Meter Calibrations. General knowledge of residential meter setting materials, including basic meters and PRVs, e.g. Saddles, Corp Stops, Setters, Meter Boxes, Covers, Water meters - SRII, Accustream, iPerl.
