Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Associate to join our dynamic sales team. The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and supporting the overall sales efforts of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a solid understanding of the gas and oil distribution industry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience, preferably in the oil and gas distribution or a related industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and work well in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with gas and oil distribution products and services is preferred, but not required.
  • A general understanding of the energy, transportation, or manufacturing industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture new business opportunities through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Qualify and convert leads into sales opportunities by effectively presenting company products and services to prospective clients.
  • Maintain and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the operations team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide technical support as needed
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of company products, services, and industry trends to provide expert guidance and recommendations to customers.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
  • Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the company's sales management software.
  • Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Prepare and send quotes, invoices, and sales reports as required.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer service and effective communication across departments.
  • Support the development of sales materials and promotional campaigns.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify potential opportunities for business growth.
  • Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management on activities, targets, and achievements.
