Requirements

  • Microsoft Purview – Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk, and Communication Compliance policy configuration and management; 4 years of hands‑on experience at expert level.
  • Purview Integrations – Strong ability to integrate Microsoft Purview with external systems such as ServiceNOW (medium proficiency).
  • Microsoft Certifications – Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC‑400) – medium proficiency
  • Security Operations Analyst (SC‑200) – medium proficiency
  • Possess strong expertise in Microsoft Purview demonstrating ability to manage and govern data effectively.
  • Have extensive experience with Microsoft Entra ID showcasing skills in identity management and secure access solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft 365 Security ensuring robust protection against cyber threats.
  • Hold a bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Show a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure architecture with a maximum of 12 years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate Microsoft Purview capabilities and design a secure architecture for Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Insider Risk Management, and Communication Compliance.
  • Collect business and regulatory requirements, assess potential risks, and define sensitive data categories aligned with compliance standards.
  • Configure and deploy Purview policies in a controlled environment; conduct pilot testing, user acceptance, and iterative tuning.
  • Integrate Purview alerts with SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel/Splunk) and ServiceNow for incident response and case management workflows.
  • Implement risk-based alert filtering and contextual correlation (e.g., unusual data transfers, pre-termination indicators) to improve detection accuracy.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and project plans; collaborate with Legal, Privacy, HR, and IT teams.
  • Ensure compliance monitoring and alert accuracy for Communication Compliance policies; optimize detection fidelity and reduce false positives.
  • Support full rollout of approved solutions, including change management, training, and post-deployment optimization.
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions that leverage Microsoft Purview to enhance data governance and compliance across the organization.
  • Oversee the integration of Microsoft Entra ID to streamline identity management and ensure secure access to resources.
  • Provide expertise in Microsoft 365 Security to safeguard organizational data and mitigate potential threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with business objectives and improve overall efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes and configurations to ensure clarity and continuity.
  • Conduct regular assessments of infrastructure performance and security to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining high performance and reliability.
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members on the latest Microsoft technologies and best practices to enhance skill sets.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards to protect organizational assets and reputation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions with existing infrastructure.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance infrastructure resilience and scalability.
