About The Position

Overall Purpose: The Inspection Supervisor position supervises and coordinates activities of team members engaged in inspecting incoming materials, in-process components and finished products to ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Supervise and train all inspection personnel on inspection techniques, procedures, processes, established quality standards, blueprints and other specifications affecting the quality of the product Monitor production flow Schedule personnel as necessary to meet due date requirements Submit reports to management as required Perform or assist in performing merit reviews of subordinates and administering of disciplinary actions Assist in developing plans or goals for continuous improvement in the Inspection Department Maintain inspection procedures and equipment according to acceptable standards Report any personnel issues to the Quality Manager or the Human Resources Department Adhere to 5S Standards Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety Other Duties: Other duties based on the needs of the Inspection and Quality Departments The preceding functions have been provided as examples of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. Requirements

High School education or equivalent as a minimum
Must possess basic computer skills
3+ years supervisory experince required
Thoroughly familiar with inspection equipment, processes, procedures, quality parameters, etc.
Able to set up inspection equipment and provide instruction to other personnel for set-up training
Able to read and understand drawings, blueprints, procedures, specifications and other documentation pertinent to the inspection and quality of the product
Thorough knowledge of applicable quality procedures and inspection techniques
Good eyesight
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Able to work overtime
Must have the ability to become an Inspection Delegate
Fluent in English (able to read, speak, write and understand)
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must have 20/25 eyesight or better with or without corrective lenses and cannot be colorblind
Must be a U.S. Person based on ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident). This position is expected to be exposed to information which is subject to U.S. export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All Applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
