About The Position

You will be performing duties as a Quality Assurance Inspector supporting the F-16 Production Team. Our team is responsible for inspecting and validating technician work and processes. What You Will Be Doing As a Quality Assurance Inspector you will be responsible for the following tasks: - Use predetermined methods to validate in-process and completed product such as electronic, mechanical, structural, and powerplant units and subsystems. - Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders to validate specifications and assembly build-up. - Utilize dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, and borescopes to evaluate aircraft/part serviceability. - Work with the customer to present validated work for their approval and final buy-off. - Review documents for accuracy and completeness. - Generate discrepancy reports for identified flaws, internal defects and incorrect work. -Support other Inspectors in other work platforms. -Must have ability to prioritize tasks and communicate support requirements. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Requirements

  • 12 Years or more of demonstrated experience in Aviation Maintenance/Manufacturing/Inspection, each FAA or FCC License counts for 2 additional years of experience.
  • Candidate must have experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and/or Aircraft drawings.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • F-16 manufacturing, avionics or maintenance experience.
  • Previous Inspection/Quality Control Experience.
  • Airframe/APG/Electrical/Flight line experience.
  • Computer skills to include Windows, Word, Excel, SAP, SFM and Apriso.
  • Must be knowledgeable of Tool Control and FOD.
