Requirements

  • Technical associate's degree (Engineering, Environmental, Architecture, Computer Science or Construction Management) w/minimum 3 years’ related work experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years related work experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience (with proficiency) with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel locally 50% working hours
  • Ability to complete physical requirements (lifting, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the construction activities of the onsite construction crews.
  • Verifies the onsite construction crew’s performance on all aspects of work according to company policies and procedures and contractual requirements as documented in the project construction drawings and specifications.
  • Ensures the equipment, personnel and pipeline safety of the work site by confirming compliance with all OSHA regulations.
  • Verifies all pipeline components specifications, grade, wall thickness, heat numbers and any name plate data are included on drawings.
  • Ensures that all bends, valves, insulators and tie-in locations have accurate tie-down measurements
  • Verifies the materials and equipment is on site as specified without damage and are installed per manufacturers or company’s requirements.
  • Ensures that all buried pipe is checked prior to backfilling and that equipment use to test the pipe coating is calibrated and properly maintained.
  • Ensures that federal, state and/or local requirements as well as industry standards are being followed.
  • Verifies that construction crews are meeting the Operation Qualifications requirements.
  • Reviews the onsite construction crew’s daily progress reports and field work orders and ensures that they are complete and accurate prior to payment approval.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
