About The Position

Join Stillwater Building Center as an Installation Helper, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and quality installations. If you’re eager to learn and grow in the construction industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you! This position will work in a team of installers, both for remodel and new construction homes. A typical day would consist of checking that all the products needed are loaded on the trailer, grabbing anything that was missed, or extra. You would then head to the job site, sometimes Stillwater, OKC, or Tulsa, to get to the first job of the day. Once your at the job you will start checking the openings are correct for the windows and doors, and then start getting the openings ready for the installs. You will be working with a lead guy that will teach you and show you how to do each aspect of the install. Once the job is complete you will note on a tablet any issues, problems, or if it's totally complete, and then take pictures. After this it may be to the next install, or back to the shop. A typical week would have you starting at 7am, and getting at least 40 hours, and generally finishing you work day around 4pm. You will normally run with the same lead installer, though we may switch that around to make sure you're able to learn each install and some trouble shooting tips. This position has the potential to move up to becoming a lead installer and running your own truck/trailer and crew. If you are a fast learner, motivated, and like overtime that transition to lead could be as soon as 6 months after starting with us.
