About The Position

Installation Technician – PET/CT: Responsible for coordinating and executing the installation, relocation, and de-installation of advanced imaging equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential functions satisfactorily. Perform on-site installations, de-installations, and relocations of PET/CT, PET, and CT imaging systems throughout the United States. Support rigging, staging, and mechanical setup of imaging systems at the system level. Assist local field engineers with final testing, calibration, and system hand-off to the customer. Adhere to OEM guidelines and internal ISO procedures to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality installations. Utilize appropriate tools, hardware, and documentation to complete installation with precision Collaborate effectively with service managers, field engineers, project managers, and customers to ensure successful project completion. Maintain accurate and timely records of installations, service reports, and all required compliance documentation. Represent Catalyst MedTech in a professional manner while upholding a strong customer service focus. Assist the Houston-based refurbishment team, including bay installations and de-installations, system packing, general assistance, and verification of system readiness for shipment.

Requirements

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical installation or servicing medical or industrial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including the ability to read technical diagrams, use precision measurement tools, and perform accurate system alignments.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment background check including FBI fingerprinting and child abuse clearances.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Required to complete safety compliance training upon hire and annually, including: OSHA and HIPAA compliance Sexual harassment and workplace bullying prevention Defensive driving and incident reporting

Nice To Haves

  • Technical associate’s degree or military technical training preferred.
