About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Specialist in the Centralized Callback Team as a part of Corporate Investment Banking. Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Ops Shared Services Operations is a cross-functional group of teams that provide support for CIB-Markets and the broader Wells Fargo organization. Shared Services are the owners and stewards of both client and reference data with a focus on operational excellence and superior client service. The Shared Services Strategy team was established to implement control framework to ensure risk mitigation, track divisional initiatives and facilitate collaboration between teams and business partners. The role will participate in risk meetings, documentation gathering, and presentation creation for senior management and partners within Corporate and Investment Banking. In this role, you will:

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting internal and external customers by providing moderately complex support services in account management, operations, documentation, customer service and technical support
  • Assist in gathering data to support resolution of issues
  • Receive direction from manager and exercise judgment within defined parameters of the area while developing understanding of various functions, policies and procedures
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Identify, research and resolve problems in a timely fashion following established guidelines
  • Reconcile reports and transactions with differentiating processes
  • Resolving sales team and customer inquiries
  • Revising departmental procedures
  • Coordinating situations that involve other departments
  • Cover overflow from other desks in the department as needed
  • Has extensive internal sales team contact; work under moderate to minimal supervision
  • May participate in identifying external customer needs and evaluating risk, assisting with special projects related to product conversion and new product development, training and mentoring lower-level staff and participating in testing for technology changes
