About The Position

As the Instruction and Classroom Support Technician 2 for the College of Veterinary Medicine, you will assist with the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) professional student instructional laboratories within the Clinical Instructional Service area. This includes assisting students during laboratories and surgeries, providing pre- and post-op care as needed, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment for laboratory use and leading temporary employees. Additional Information: This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $3,925 - $5,271 | Range 44 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with major study in specific instructional area; or equivalent education/experience.
  • Must pass WSU radiation safety training exam first time it is available.

  • Experience working in a Veterinary Clinic / Hospital setting.
