Required Qualifications: master’s degree in communication disorders or closely related area (e.g., speech and hearing science) current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language-Pathology eligibility for unrestricted licensure as a speech-language pathologist in Missouri evidence and/or demonstrated potential for teaching effectiveness in Communication Disorders strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills evidence of commitment to the liberal arts and sciences Preferred Qualifications: ability to teach a variety of courses within the department evidence of or demonstrated potential for mentoring students in transformative learning experiences such as undergraduate and graduate research, service-learning, study abroad, and clinical practicum; evidence and/or demonstrated potential for developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in undergraduate and graduate students
