About The Position
The Department of English at the University of Mississippi seeks to hire one or more Instructors beginning Fall 2026. This is a 9-month, full-time, benefits-eligible regular position teaching a 3:3 load, including general education literature survey lectures and upper-division courses in literary studies and/or creative writing. The successful candidate will provide departmental faculty service, such as participating in committee work, recruitment and outreach, and the academic advising of undergraduate majors.
