About The Position

MTC is hiring a temporary part-time Instructor to join our team! The position will be 20 hours per week.
Teaching individuals with disabilities.
Provide instruction and classroom support.
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including individuals, families, care givers, and support coordinators.
Treat everyone with civility, kindness, active listening, and professionalism, even in challenging situations.
Maintains a collaborative work environment and works well with others.
Other duties as assigned to support the mission of MTC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in education, social sciences, rehabilitation and/or education fields and three years of experience working in social services, education, rehabilitation or employment services.
• Must pass a Level II background check/fingerprinting (https://info.flclearinghouse.com), and drug screening.
• Is culturally sensitive, disability sensitive, and socially perceptive.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of four years of field experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or American Sign Language, a plus.
• Knowledge in technology strongly preferred.
