About The Position

Cecil College is seeking part-time instructors to teach continuing education courses in the following subjects: Piano

Requirements

• Strong piano performance and instructional background
• Experience teaching a wide range of ages and skill levels
• Ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles and skill levels
• Passion for music education and working with young musicians

Responsibilities

• Teaching individual and small-group piano lessons for both adults and youth at varying skill levels
• Creating age-appropriate lesson plans that build musical literacy, technique, and performance skills
• Incorporating fun, creative activities that keep students motivated and excited to learn
• Encouraging good practice habits, musical expression, and steady progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports confidence and growth
